Tempico Rotoclave - Medical Waste Treatment With Large System
Tempico is developing the largest medical waste processor todate for use by Nicklin Associates Inc. at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Nicklin Associates Inc. currently operates Rotoclave systems at Washington Medical Center, Washington, DC and University of Rochester, Rochester, NY.
The following picture presents the model 2.8K as being built at Liberty Welding & Iron Works in Metairie, LA - the fabricator of the vessel for Tempico. Shown standing inside the drum is Greg Diaz - general manager of Liberty, who is approximately 5' 9" tall. This vessel is classified as a 7' X 20'.
Delivery to the Tempico shop in Hammond, LA is anticipated toward the 1st week of June. Several additional proposals have been made to deliver this larger size equipment to other facilities where large volumes of medical waste must be treated.
