Tempico Manufacturing, Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of our latest product offering, the Tempico Rotopulper™. The new “patent applied” Rotopulper™ is a rotating, horizontal steam treatment vessel, capable of pulping up to 750 tons per day of mixed household and commercial municipal solid waste (MSW) in a single, constant flow stream. The Tempico Rotopulper™ will be marketed as part of a complete MSW recycling system, utilizing existing “shelf” recycling technologies to recover not only valuable commodities such as metals and rigid plastics, but also materials of low value such as textiles, glass/aggregates and film plastics. Nearly all biogenic fractions are recovered and further processed to remove unwanted inorganic contamination. This material is now available as a premium feed stock for sustainable biochemical or thermo-chemical biomass conversion technology applications to produce liquid biofuels, specialty chemicals or renewable electricity. When coupled with such renewable biomass conversion technologies, the Tempico Rotopulper™ Based Materials Recycling Facility will result in “Game Changing” carbon emissions avoidance and landfill diversion in excess of 75%.
